Participation Details

As a participant, you will be required to provide driving data through the use of Tesla vehicles. The participation fee is for the operational costs associated with running the research program, not for vehicle rental.

  • Participation Fee: This fee is an administrative fee for the research program and data collection activities, not a rental fee. The fee structure is as follows:
    • As determined by the signed agreement, it may be referred to as a "daily fee", "daily cost", "daily rate", or "weekly fee", "weekly cost", "weekly rate".
  • Additional Expenses: Participants are responsible for any costs including but not limited to: costs associated with tolls, traffic tickets, charging fees, and vehicle damages.
  • Payment Terms: All fees must be paid within 24-48 hours of receiving a payment request. Payments may be requested via any communication method (email, phone, text message, etc.).

Vehicle Maintenance and Damage

Participants are responsible for maintaining the vehicle during the research period. If damage occurs, the participant will be required to cover the costs, this includes costs associated with accidents, wear and tear, and battery damage.

Legal and Compliance

By participating in the program, participants agree to use the vehicle solely for the research program and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Tesla Rentals NY is not liable for accidents, damages, or injuries that occur during the program.
